Part of the Musica Kirklees Festival Series, guitarists from each five of our music centres are going to be joining together with students from the Royal Northern College of Music for an afternoon of ensemble playing. It’s an opportunity to learn some great repertoire together and benefit from the expert tutelage of internationally acclaimed virtuoso guitarists Craig Ogden and Sam Rodwell.
There will be a concert performance at 5pm on the day for friends and family and guitar enthusiasts to come along and hear our work. All the centres will be performing, and there will be an opportunity to hear performances from some of the RMCM students and of course Craig Ogden who we hope can be persuaded to play some of his favourite pieces too!
Cost for the workshop is £10 per person. Cost to watch the concert is £5 per ticket. We hope to see lots of guitarists at this exciting event as it promises to be a day to remember! More details to follow...
