Call out for all MYO and KYSO members past and present

To celebrate 20 years of the Musica Youth Orchestra (formerly Kirklees Youth Symphony Orchestra KYSO), we’d like to invite all players, past and present, to a special event on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

We’d like all our alumni to form a one-off orchestra of all the talents for a day that promises to be a lot of fun, a chance to reunite with friends, relive past orchestral experiences and create new memories.

We hope you’ve continued to enjoy making music but appreciate that sometimes life gets in the way. This is a great opportunity for well-rehearsed (and those of you who have got a ‘bit rusty’!) to enjoy the thrill of playing together once again.

The programme for the day is as follows:

Afternoon Rehearsals at Huddersfield Town Hall 1:30pm-4:30pm
Refreshments (provided by Musica Kirklees) 5pm-6pm
Concert (first half) 7:30pm-8:15pm
Interval 8:15pm-8:45pm
Concert (second half) 8:45pm-9:30pm

If your friends and family would like to watch the evening concert, tickets will be available at £10 (adults) and Under 18’s £3 each - you can order these in advance from [email protected] or nearer the time from the Kirklees Box Office.
