Hellos and Goodbyes

At the end of the Autumn term we said goodbye to Miss Poole (upper strings) and Mrs Green (keyboard/piano), and at the start of January we also said farewell to Mr Marshall (music technology/voice).  We’d like to send them a big thank you and wish them all good luck with their next adventures.

Along with the New Year we also have some new faces joining our team.  Mrs Hutton-Searle will be teaching upper strings in the Colne Valley area, and Miss Rivett will be covering voice and whole class activities in the north of Kirklees until Easter.

We’re also delighted to announce that Mr Wightman (brass) has been appointed as Area Manager for Colne Valley.  From January, Mr Wightman will be overseeing activities at the centre at Musica Colne Valley and working with schools throughout the area to promote music education.
