IMPORTANT CHANGES - MUSICA HOLME VALLEY AND THEORY GROUP

Important memo for all who attend Musica Holme Valley – change of venue to Honley High School

From the first rehearsal next year, on 7^th September 2019, Musica Holme Valley will move to Honley High School, Station Road, Honley, HD9 6QJ.

 

At the end of last term we were approached by Schools Letting Solutions (SLS) to say that Holmfirth High School would not be available to us on Saturday mornings from September.  They offered us the possibility of Honley High School at the same time on Saturday mornings and Ms Eady and I have now had a chance to look round and assess its suitability.  While there will be some inevitable teething problems, we believe that the move will allow us to continue to run everything without too much disruption and also provide some fresh possibilities.

 

Obviously our main concern is that we continue to meet the needs of all the loyal young people, adults, staff and helpers who have made Musica Holme Valley such a welcoming and successful centre.  We sincerely hope that this won’t cause too much disruption for you and didn’t want to raise any concerns before we had found a solution to the accommodation issue.  This is why we have left it till now to let everyone know.

 

We look forward to seeing everyone back in September - usual time, different venue.  Please go to the main entrance (the large stone ‘porch’ on the right as you approach Honley High School on the drive) and you will be directed to the correct room.

MUSICA KIRKLEES THEORY GROUP – IMPORTANT CHANGES FROM SEPTEMBER

 

Due to staffing changes, the Musica Kirklees Theory Group will now take place on

Wednesdays, 5.30 – 6.30pm at

Netherhall Learning Campus High School

Nether Hall Avenue

Rawthorpe

Huddersfield

West Yorkshire

HD5 9PG

 

The group will continue to be led by Mrs Dransfield and the first session will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 5.30pm.

The new venue has improved accessibility and we hope will offer better facilities for parents/carers as there is seating in the foyer and a car park.
