- Les Miserable Workshop at Musica Batley
On June 22, local instrumentalists and members of Musica Batley took part in a special Les Miserables workshop with with West End Musical Director, Steve Moss (Biog - http://www.stevenmoss.co.uk/about) - external site
The workshop was part of a wider project in memory of Batley and Spen MP Jo Cox. Actors and musicians will be coming together in August to put together a production of Les Miserables. The project has been developed by Musical Director, and friend of Mrs Cox, Nick Evans.
The musical will feature on several television programmes and will be performed in Blakeridge Mill, Batley.
