CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS AND EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART!

In partnership with the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Musica Kirklees teachers and Kirklees class teachers have been working with pupils to create new football chants as a method of composition. The aim was to develop ideas with support from professional educators and to engage children in creative composition whilst supporting their local football team.

We’d like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to The Huddersfield Town Foundation and all the teachers, schools and pupils who took part and created some very catchy compositions!

Over 2100 pupils got involved with the composition process in dozens of schools across Kirklees. The adjudicators enjoyed receiving all the entries and all schools and pupils are able to download a certificate of participation HERE.
