What a weekend! Music for Youth 2017

The Music for Youth Huddersfield Regional Festival took place on March 11 - 12 at Colne Valley High School.

Over 40 groups took part in a weekend celebrating the musical young people of Kirklees.  Amongst the performers were groups from Musica Holme Valley, Musica Shelley, Musica Colne Valley, Musica Batley and the Musica Soul Band.  There were also young musicians taking part from primary schools, high schools, colleges and local music clubs and groups, such as the Colne Valley Boys and Rainbow Connection Junior Choir.

We had a fabulous weekend.  Thank you to all the teachers and helpers for supporting the event and well done to everyone who took part  - you all helped to make this a regional festival to remember!
