'Let's Sing!' Highlights and Resources

Let's Sing! 2023 was a project that aimed to give young people a memorable creative experience through music making and performance.  Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and Musica Holme Valley, the project formed part of the Kirklees Year of Music celebrations.

Central to the project was a new composition by students from All Saints Catholic College, Newsome Academy and Honley High with initial input from MHV percussionists and led by Henry Bateman.  Into the Light was performed by local school children for the finale concert at Huddersfield Town Hall in Summer.
